Mark Anderson Jazz Performance Degree With Honors (Humber College, Toronto)
Mark recieved his Jazz Performance Degree with Honors from Toronto's respected Humber College in 2002, He has studied with some of the great guitarists of recent times such as: - David Occhipinti - Reg Schwager (George Shearing and Diana Krall) - Ted Quinlan (Chet Baker and Jimmy Smith) - Lorne Lofsky (Oscar Peterson) - Art Levine (host of CBC's "This is Art")
Mark has been teaching privateguitar lessons in Mississauga and Oakville for over 20 years to students of all ages, from beginners to professionals. Several of his students have been accepted into post-secondary music programs such as Humber College (Toronto), Berklee Music School (Boston), and the L.A. Guitar Academy (Los Angeles).
Mark has played guitar professionally for over 30 years in rock, jazz, blues, folk, indie, metal, classical, and Latin styles. He performs solo guitar concerts often, in addition to composing and performing for film. His latest recording features solo acoustic guitar original music.
